How to open Excel Spreadsheets from Oracle Applications Concurrent Request

If you want to make XML Output to be displayed with Excel Spreadsheets when run the reports in Concurrent Request, you must add the highlighted line in System Administrator > Install > Viewer Options.
If your concurrent request using XML Publisher, at run time when you click on the Options button, you should see the template you have assigned to this concurrent request, you will need to change the format from PDF or RTF to EXCEL. Click OK and submit your concurrent request.
